…and I finally dropped at about 8 pm tonight resulting in falling asleep on the couch and missing the end of “Designed to Sell.” Oh well, not like I need to know what to do to sell my house someday–I’m doing all the important things right now!

I hit all the usual shopping spots this weekend–Target, PetSmart, Home Depot, Trader Joe’s and Albertson’s–resulting in no time left for much else. I also stopped at Armstrong Garden Center and picked up some purple and yellow chrysanthemums for my Lakers front flowerbed. Hope to get that bed cleaned out and replanted later this week.

The windows are basically finished–thank God it’s over! George (the contractor) will be coming by tomorrow to put korbels under the front window, replace the downspout at the back of the house and install a new outdoor light out back. All that’s left to do outside is paint the trim around the bathroom door and the stucco around the back windows and the bathroom door–as well as lots and lots of cleanup out back!

Inside is a different story! So much painting to do and so little time! Will probably start in on the family room. Going to paint the walls brown with white trim and a white ceiling. Gotta get new wood baseboards (there have never been any!) and then can arrange to have the room carpeted. Will probably wait till after Christmas to start in on my bedroom as I just don’t think I’ll have enough time to get that done before the holidays.

At least I should have the house cleaned and in pretty good shape for decorating come December…
