I’ve looked at all the various polls and have heard the newscasts, and all seem to agree that John Kerry won the debates. If that’s the case, how is it that so many people across the country still favor George Bush? All I can figure is that the majority of GW’s supporters are not being polled after the debates–or that they don’t consider the debate results when deciding how to vote. Maybe they listen to the debates but afterwards just decide to stick with “same old, same old” and disregard everything they heard.

Bush didn’t even answer many of the questions! I’m appalled there are people in this country who can vote for such an ignoramus! I don’t think Kerry is perfect by any means, but he at least comes across as an intelligent human being who can think on his feet and respond appropriately when questioned. I’ve not heard him say anything thus far that would dig us deeper into the hole we’re in right now–and have heard many things that would result in much better conditions over the next few years.
