The pumpkin pies are in the oven and I’m about ready to put the turkey in the brine solution to soak overnight. All the other goodies are waiting to be cooked tomorrow. Just have to figure out how I’m going to fit everything in the oven since my new stove only has one oven rather than the double oven I had in the old one.

Sorry about all of you in other parts of the country who have to deal with nasty weather. Tomorrow should be glorious here–clear with temps in the low 70’s. .. Perfect Thanksgiving weather! Glad I’m not traveling anywhere. Am content to stay at home and cook!

Thought we’d just have Patrick and myself for dinner tomorrow (lots of food for just two people!), but just found out tonight that a couple of Patrick’s friends will be joining us. Am happy to have them…and any others of you out there who don’t have anywhere to go for dinner tomorrow. Turkey should be ready between 4-5 pm. If I don’t see you tomorrow, have a happy day and eat lots!
