I’m pooped…and so have done very little here at home tonight. I did help Chris Loop by digging out lots of tunes for his wedding on Saturday. That 60’s music really works well for wedding receptions…he even wanted some Barry Manilow! This should be a fun wedding with lots of dancing. I need to be sure to wear comfortable flat shoes!
Work is quite exhausting this week already. Gotta finish up all the 1099’s, plus need to do a few last minute entries to make sure the 2004 year-end financials are in good shape. Also have to send off payroll on Wednesday, requiring another full day of work. Then there’s the finance committee meeting at 7 am on Thursday… Of course most everyone at work has no idea that I have all this on my plate this week, so I’ll still have to pay bills and solve all those urgent problems that will no doubt crop up throughout the week. At least the week should go by quickly.
Meanwhile I have 1099’s to do at home for 3 clients, plus have a mountain of data entry to do for one of them in order to get the 1099’s completed. I really should have been doing some of it tonight, but I’m just too tired. Hopefully I’ll get started tomorrow and will get everything finished up by Monday, 1/31, the deadline for the 1099’s to be mailed.
Didn’t get nearly enough housework finished this past weekend. Spent a good chunk of Saturday doing client work on the computer and had a baby shower to attend on Sunday…so, of course, had to go shopping for a gift on Saturday. Don’t expect I’ll have much time for cleaning this weekend what with the wedding on Saturday and finishing up the client work on Sunday.
I’m scheduled for jury duty on Monday the 31st. I’m praying I don’t have to report. But, just in case, I need to have all the tax stuff finished before Monday. I will be sooo glad to have all this finished!
All my “projects” have been put on hold until I get all this other stuff finished. I’m really wanting to get back to the painting and other remodeling and yard projects, but gotta wait. Hopefully I will be able to get back to all that fun stuff by about mid-February…maybe by the 3-day President’s Day holiday weekend.
Still have to shop for my dress for Kevin & Soula’s wedding, so the long weekend might have to be taken up some by shopping. Will be glad to have a weekend that doesn’t include any “must do’s.”
