It seems that God is not too overwhelmed by all the needs in Louisiana and Mississippi. He/she must have heard the large outcry from Jean’s family and friends and decided it was a good idea to shut these people up in order to get on with other business.

In other words, Jean’s surgery went well. Took about 7 hrs and most of it was done laproscopically up until the actual removal of the kidney and tumor. Recovery will involve about 5 days in the hospital and another 2-3 weeks at home. Then the drug treatment will begin for the lungs.
