Just read an article in one of the San Francisco papers saying that most of the people at Burning Man don’t know about Hurricane Katrina. Guess it’s probably just as well that they don’t know. Why give them such dismal news that would only put a damper on the event. There’s nothing they can do to change what happened and they might as well enjoy The Man burning tomorrow night after all the preparation time and money they spent to get there.

It will certainly be a rude shock to all of them when they start leaving and stop to fill up their gas tanks, though! It’s going to cost Patrick a fortune to get that big truck back to LA!
