Hit the stores at about 10 am this morning and, after visiting about 10 different places, I headed for home at about 3:30 pm. And I’m finished! The worst part of the day was the battle for parking. Along about 1 pm parking was at a premium everywhere. I went to some specialty stores along South Lake Avenue in Pasadena at that time…should have gone there first. I am sooo glad that this day is over! Only have to go to Trader Joe’s and the grocery for a few last minute items tomorrow morning…and to the Honeybaked Ham Store to pick up Christmas Eve dinner–yum!

Will probably wrap gifts tonight and will try to get the kitchen cleaned and organized so I can bake cookies tomorrow. May even get a batch or two finished tonight. Got a new Christmas music CD, so that should provide a good atmosphere for baking.

Am so glad I’m off work for awhile…and certainly for these few days leading up to Christmas. It’s so nice knowing I don’t have to get up early tomorrow and head in to the office. I can take my time getting dressed and relax and actually have time to read the paper…a novel idea.

Well, I need to get off and get busy or it will soon be 11 pm and I’ll have done nothing.
