After watching the nasty, snowy weather hitting the northeast, it’s hard not to revel in the wonderfully warm and sunny weather here in So. Cal.–especially after experiencing a bit of winter in Ohio last week. I suppose if you’re going to have a snow storm, it might as well be a big one. At least things get shut down and you can stay inside and enjoy looking out at the sparkly whiteness. But when the snow stops falling, you still gotta get out and shovel the walks and clean off your car so you can head off to work on Monday…
Sorry, but I’d rather not get to experience any more snow. Ever. I’m looking out my window and see lemons and tangelos colorfully hanging from the branches of my fruit trees, and I smell the pleasant fragrance of jasmine blooming on the vines in my backyard. The temps are in the 80’s and all the windows in my house are open.
While heavy rains, forest fires and earthquakes remain a possibility at all times in California, I’ll take my chances in order to enjoy this kind of weather in February.

Now it’s crystal-clear blue and sunny. Seattle makes no sense.
Maybe it’s just frozen rain…
