The Saturday night poker game was great…especially since I won $38! Not bad for a $20 buy-in. We had lots of fun and it was nice to be on the winning end for once.

Earlier on Saturday I cleaned up the backyard and cleaned and painted the dark green plastic yard furniture. I bought some spray paint last year that is specifically for painting plastic furniture. And I finally got around to using it. It works fairly well. Not perfect, but not that bad. The chairs look lots better than they did after 3-4 years outside, and I didn’t have to buy all new chairs. Don’t know that I’d paint them again as it’s probably cheaper just to buy new ones if you get them on sale. But for now they look better and should last another few years.

Spent a couple of hours late Saturday night on the phone and the internet with Kevin looking at houses for sale in the Seattle area. Lots of fun and I think he’s getting excited about buying a house. Soula is still not so sure about it. She wants to do it but is a bit anxious about all that’s involved. Meanwhile it kept me up until 2 am!

Lazed around most of the day today as the result of being up so late last night. Patrick and Veronica came over this afternoon and hung out by the pool. And tonight Vanessa stopped by for a visit. All in all it was a good weekend…and I just couldn’t find time to do any work for the office! Oh well.
