I’ll be on vacation!!! I can’t wait to be off for a week only doing things that I want to do. Some of those things are around-the-house work type stuff, but mostly things where the end result is very gratifying. Hope to do some painting (yay!) and getting rid of stuff. Since the yard work is done, the only outside work is watering. And that’s nice.

Don’t have anything specific to do this weekend. It’s supposed to be extremely hot (100 degrees +), so I’ll probably spend a lot of the weekend in my bedroom (with a/c) starting in on cleaning and getting rid of stuff that should have been disposed of a long time ago!

Patrick is out of town at a Burning Man meeting. Veronica might stop by to use the pool but, after a bad sunburn earlier in the week, she isn’t as eager to lay about in the burning rays.

Nice not to have any plans for the next 2 days. Ahhhh….summer!
