I’m ready for tomorrow to be over.  This week has been brutal at work.  I have a huge list of ‘projects’ and no time to even attempt to start any of them.  Bill paying is taking up more and more of my time since my administrative assistant was fired and things get busier and busier.  I now have another person who will be helping with filing, stuffing envelopes, etc., but that’s only when she doesn’t have other things to do…meaning I’ll be lucky to get help from her for a few hours a week and I’ll still be dealing with all the data entry for the bills.

It’s not that I hate doing the data entry.  It’s fairly mindless and not really that hard.  But when you are still expected to do tons of other stuff, it’s just too much.  Next week is the finance committee meeting, so maybe I’ll have a couple of weeks to deal with the ‘projects’ once that hurdle is over for another month.

Went to another block meeting on Tuesday to plan for our new street decoration for Christmas.  I think we have finally made a decision on the design.  I thought that had already happened after the last meeting, but people came into this meeting with yet more designs to consider.  While this has been lots of fun in the past, we seem to have a lot of new people who don’t have a clue about how this works.  We’ll see how it goes…

I’m going to be working this weekend making a model of the decoration on posterboard.  Hopefully I can help to get these people in line once they see the model.  Aaaagggghhhh!
