…and I’m almost ready!  Amazing!

Finished up my shopping tonight and realized after I got home that I needed one more gift.  Then remembered something I got last year and decided to ‘regift.’  And so I really am finished.

The house is completely decorated and mostly clean.  Still have to do laundry, vacuum and clean the bathroom.  Also have a few more batches of cookies to bake.  However, I will be off work after the end of the day tomorrow (Wednesday) and don’t leave for Seattle until Friday afternoon.  So I should have enough time to finish up everything.

Patrick and Veronica will be coming over Thursday night to have our early Christmas before I leave.  All their gifts are wrapped, so all I need to do is pick up a few things at the grocery and put the roast in the slow cooker.

Murphy is going to a kennel while I’m away.  It just will be easier that way rather than Patrick having to bring him back and forth from our house to his apartment.  And it would be difficult for Patrick and Veronica to deal with two dogs and a cat in a small one bedroom apartment.  Murphy seemed to do fine there while we were back in Ohio last January, so I’m not too worried.

Gotta wrap a couple of gifts to take to work tomorrow so time to get going.
