My front yard and porch are completely finished, and my back yard is almost done!  I spent a huge amount of the weekend working outside and my outdoor spaces look absolutely fabulous!  Still have one bush to be planted, have to mount the hangers for three hanging pots of flowers, and need to clean all the outdoor furniture–but that’s about it.  I should be able to get all that finished next Saturday–and then I’ll be ready for summer!

I’ve totally let the inside of the house go to hell over the past few weeks, so have plenty to occupy my time indoors.  But that’s okay.  I can open all the windows and enjoy the beauty outdoors while I’m busy indoors.  And soon I’ll have the inside nice and clean and then can start in on………some painting!  Patrick is working on cleaning out the room that used to be his office and will soon be mine.  I need to paint it before moving the bookcases and desk in there.  Still not sure what color, but am thinking about a dark tan/beige.  It will match well with the wood bookcases and will be a nice transition from the brown walls in the family room.  I’ll be off work the first week in July so should be able to get this room completed during that week.  Enough about all my summer projects.

Now it’s time to get the laundry folded and head off to bed…and another week of work…but the coming weekend is a three-day holiday weekend!  Yay!  I can’t wait for three days off!  And tomorrow is the finale of Heroes!!!
