I feel so sorry for Soula and Kevin right now.  They are still waiting.  Not much has changed.  Soula’s cervix is still only dilated about 1 cm and her contractions, which are lasting about 1 minute, are about 3 minutes apart.  Kevin sounded exhausted when I talked with him a few minutes ago and he said Soula was extremely tired and just wanted everything to be over.

They will be injecting her with the drug to induce labor within the next few hours and will make a decision (probably in the early hours of the morning) as to whether the labor is proceeding as planned or whether they need to do a caesarian.  Kevin will call me when they decide.  I’m keeping the phone right next to my nightstand so that I can get the call no matter what time it might be.
