Robin went to the doctor today for his two-month checkup. He now weighs almost 12 lbs and is at the 50th percentile for both weight and length. The only problem he has is a small hernia at his belly button which the doctor feels will go away by the time he reaches one year of age. Robin also got his first shots today, and boy was he pissed! Somehow he couldn’t figure out why someone did something to intentionally hurt him and shrieked and cried quite a bit. Poor little guy…

Kevin says Robin is also beginning to recognize faces. I guess he was crying a lot when Kevin walked up to him. When he saw Kevin’s face he stopped crying and started smiling. What a good feeling that must have been for a new dad.
