I can’t believe it’s December. What happened to this year?
So most of the inside Christmas decorating is almost finished. I spent most of the weekend cleaning, decorating and putting away all the carnival glass and other knick-knacks, pictures, etc. Had hoped to get more done but, oh well. I’m taking off work on Friday to try to get a jump on the outdoor decorating that’s due to be up by Saturday night. We’ll see how that goes as the weather forecast is for rain both days.
Speaking of rain, Seattle had the second most amount of rain in history today! Kevin’s work and home are both fine since both are atop hills. He said there was a lot of flooding in the area, but nothing that directly affected them…other than standing water on the freeway.
Watched the last episode of Heroes tonight as well as the last Desperate Housewives last night. Both were excellent (as well as cliffhangers) and now we have to wait until who knows when to find out about which characters are still around. And, if the writer’s strike continues much longer, it may be a long time. Somehow I think some kind of settlement will have to be reached or the networks will soon be out of business.
It’s supposed to be in the mid-80’s here tomorrow (huh?) so I’ve got to go dig around and figure out what to wear to work tomorrow. I was just getting used to long sleeves and sweaters.
