For some reason, I am getting dumped on by the powers that be. This morning I got up and did my usual of getting my first cup of coffee and then going to my computer to check my email. Only my computer was off. Didn’t know why that was the case, so I turned it on. Nothing. Great. Called Patrick who said he’d stop by on his way home from work this morning. Turned out to be a dead power supply that he could easily fix by replacing it with a new one from Best Buy. Have I mentioned how grateful I am to have a computer geek for a son?!

I’m still on jury duty and I am so sick of it. This is by far one of the most boring trials I could ever have imagined. We expect to deliberate all day tomorrow and I am so hoping we will reach a verdict early.

Still have the water turned off to my house due to the leak at the side of the house. It’s really wonderful going outside at 6 am in my nightgown to turn the water on so that I can shower, brush my teeth and flush the toilet. And I need to do laundry and dishes. This has got to end soon. Thank God Patrick showed me how to turn off the water.
