How about carpal tunnel syndrome? Got to work today and began experiencing unbelievable pain in my left hand. Mostly it is in my thumb joint. And then there’s the tingling/numbness in my fingers. Took lots of ibuprofin with no result. Took a vicodin when I got home. It eased the pain but, when I move my thumb, the searing pain returns. I’m using an ace bandage to keep the thumb from moving which helps keep the pain down. So did I do something to cause this, or is it arthritis, or is it carpal tunnel? I’ll give it a few days before I make the doctor’s appointment. I just can’t believe another part of my body is going to hell.
