I am ready for summer, but this is a bit much too soon! Today is the third day in the high 90’s and the forecast is for more heat tomorrow. It’s supposed to dramatically drop down into the 60’s by the weekend though, so I’m not yet putting away my sweaters.

I had planned to finish up getting my large backyard flowerbed ready for planting this weekend but, after about an hour each day, I was dripping in sweat and exhausted. So that will have to wait until next weekend when the temps will be far more conducive to digging in the dirt.

The NBA playoffs have started, so I’m tied to the TV watching the Lakers about 3 times a week. And on the nights when they’re not playing, I’m catching some of the other games. Patrick’s office has tickets available for some of the games and they’re distributing them through a lottery type system. Hopefully we’ll get tickets to at least one game over the next few months. Not counting on it, but it would be fun if it happened.
