At least the big flowerbed/garden is done. I made another run to Home Depot and to OSH this morning. Bought seven flowerpots, potting soil, and a bunch of geraniums and various other plants. Got enough wall “toppers” at OSH to finish off the concrete wall.

Then spent the afternoon filling the pots with flowers, finishing up the wall, cleaning out more flowerbeds, and generally cleaning up the yard. Both the regular trash can and the yard waste can were completely full, so it’s a good thing trash pickup is tomorrow.

Still have to clean out a couple more flowerbeds of leaves and such and then finish spreading the bark nugget mulch…and have a bit of trimming to do. And then the backyard will be finished just in time for the summer swimming season! Am hopeful I’ll have it all finished by next weekend. So far it really looks great! I’m so glad I decided to get rid of those huge cypress trees. It’s been a lot of work, but well worth it.

Now I have to get busy out front. I bought a bunch of mulch for those beds and need to get that spread in addition to cleaning out more leaves from the bed along the driveway. It certainly is a good thing that I like gardening and yard work!
