…and then I’m off work for a week! Yay!!!

This week has been rough at work since we’re once again in the midst of our annual audit. I know, it seems that we’re *always* in the midst of the audit. In the past, though, it has taken months and months to finish it up due in part to never having had an audit previously…like in 125 years never! How it happened that I got to participate in this groundbreaking activity is beyond me! Anyhow, this is the third audit since the first one for the year 2006. It is getting easier, but there’s always some unexpected item that I have to dig through old records to find. Sooner or later I will have found it all and will only have to worry about the current year. I expect most of my audit work will be completed next week and then I can take a week off knowing I only have *regular* stuff to come back to. Let’s hope.

Not sure what I’m going to do while off work, but am hoping to get ALL yard work finished (except, of course, regular maintenance type things). Don’t have too much left to do outside, so may even get it finished up this weekend. Then can just enjoy the fruits of my labors–literally, since I already have tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers starting to grow!

Other than outside stuff, I want to get the house cleaned really well and then finish up a bunch of small projects. Painting some trim and closet doors are at the top of the list. Possibly I may even do some garage cleaning. We’ll see how everything else goes.

Tonight I’m going to relax after watering some plants and the yard. Tomorrow is soon enough to get started.
