Am noticing some changes in my life after surgery. The most noticeable is that everything sweet tastes even sweeter. Perhaps this is an after-effect of the anesthesia or maybe getting rid of so much nastiness from inside my body. My coffee tastes extremely sweet and it didn’t used to be that way. Nothing has changed in the way I am fixing it (packet of sweet ‘n low plus creamer) yet it seems to leave an extremely sweet after taste. Other sweet things (like breakfast cereal) are also sweeter.
The best thing is that the wrinkles in my face and my droopy eyelids seem to have filled in/perked up! My skin looks much better. That could be from many things, including the lessening of stress now that I am home and starting to feel better. I also haven’t gone to work in over two weeks, eliminating a huge chunk of stress. I really have no worries right now except relaxing and feeling better. It also may have something to do with all the weight I’ve lost. I didn’t consider that weight loss in my belly would impact how my face would look!
