Decided to write this post tonight since tomorrow may be too busy to do any updating. Patrick and Veronica will be over for a cookout and swim tomorrow afternoon and I’ll be busy in the morning get things ready outside and making potato salad. I went to the grocery earlier today and picked up a little of everything–steaks, burgers and brats–so we can cook whatever they are up for eating!

Tomorrow night I’ll be dogsitting Floyd while Patrick and Veronica head to the beach for fireworks. I don’t mind staying home (really don’t want to go all the way to the beach) and am happy to keep Floyd from going berserk when the booms start up at dark. We really don’t have much noise here since fireworks are illegal in Pasadena, but we can hear some of the Rose Bowl show. Let’s hope Floyd stays calm.
