Another playoff season underway! The Lakers didn’t start off this series all that well, but managed to beat New Orleans in 6 games with the last one being the best. Final score was 98-80! Now we have to wait to see whether Dallas beats Portland tonight. I’m hoping the Lakers play Dallas since they’ve done better in the past against them. Still not sure if they’ll make it all the way again this year, but it would certainly be exciting if they did!

In between basketball games (they play every other day!) I’m trying to spend as much time as possible out in the yard. I bought some new plants (another rose bush, some daylilies, tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers and herbs) on Monday, but haven’t yet had time to plant any of them! Now that the Lakers don’t play again until Monday, I should be able to get all of them in the ground as well as getting the remainder of my yard work finished up. After that it will just be watering and maintenance…and enjoying the good weather!
