It’s almost mid-July and I don’t know how that happened. Seems it was early May just the other day…and what happened to June?

It’s definitely summer here even though it took it’s time getting here. And now I wish we could get just a bit of a break from the heat! I think part of the problem has to do with the awful humidity that has hit us this week. If the heat were the typical dry heat that we normally experience, it wouldn’t be nearly as bad. That’s supposed to change next week, so I’m hoping.

Also, I have no a/c in my bedroom which makes sleeping uncomfortable, to say the least. I went to Sears today and purchased a 5200 BTU window unit that Patrick is going to install tomorrow. So tonight is my last night of sleeping in my own sweat! I can’t wait to go to bed tomorrow!

And after I get the new a/c in, my house should be pretty cool for the remainder of the summer. And the pool is finally warm enough at 75 degrees so that I can enjoy swimming for the next few months. Ah…summer!
