Having our 4th of July BBQ tomorrow…and I’m exhausted tonight! Spent most of the day cooking and cleaning although my house doesn’t look that much cleaner tonight. Still have a lot of picking up the house to do, but at least I won’t be spending most of the day in the kitchen. Will get up early tomorrow and will somehow be ready when all the folks start arriving around 3 pm. Had originally expected a half dozen people and somehow it’s turned into double that number. Should be lots of fun, though, with a good group of people.

Temps are supposed to be up near 100 degrees, so we’ll no doubt be spending a good deal of the afternoon in the pool. And we’ll have lots of food, so it will be a great day for celebrating.

And then I’ll be spending the 4th watching Independence Day and Yankee Doodle Dandy…and relaxing! Happy 4th of July everyone!
