Yes, it’s hot here–supposed to be in the 90’s for the next few days–but it is definitely a dry heat. And it gets down into the 60’s at night, so it’s not bad at all. And, compared to most everyone else in the country (except for Seattle!), I’m not complaining! It’s 90-110 degrees in most of the country and the humidity is up in the 90’s as well. OMG, I’m so glad I didn’t plan a visit to Ohio this year!
And then there’s Seattle. They are counting the “hours” when they’ve have temps over 80 degrees this year. That’s right, hours. So far they’ve had 78 hours of temps over 80. God knows what it will be like when I head up there for a visit in late August. I may have to dig out my winter clothes!
Kevin is coming to LA for a business trip this weekend. It will be a rude awakening for him to leave all that cool, wet weather for the dry, sunny heat here! At least I have lots of a/c and fans all over the house, so he should be comfortable as long as he’s inside during the day. And there’s always the pool if he gets too hot!
