Tonight is the first night in ages that I don’t have some sort of accounting work to do….Hallelujah! Still have to do a payroll tax return next week for one of my clients–but that shouldn’t take too long–and then most everything will be finished for awhile. Lots to do at work, however, with no real let up in sight. At least I can crash at night when I get home…
Took Murphy for a walk when I got home on Tuesday, but didn’t have time last night and was just too tired tonight. I did seem to have more energy when I got home from the walk, so I know it’s a good thing for me to do. Will try to do it again tomorrow and at least once over the weekend. Gotta get my energy level up again. Hopefully the lack of all this working at home will help as well.
Have to go to a wedding on Saturday. Then I’ll be heading out to Home Depot on Sunday (finally!) to spend some of my gift certificate $$$ (from Christmas) on new plants. Spent part of my Monday holiday weeding flowerbeds in the backyard. Am ready to get started with the planting. And now with the weather getting warmer and the daylight lasting longer, I can spend a bit of time working in the yard–if I can get over some of this exhaustion. Maybe the motivation will be in the form of plants sitting around waiting to go into the ground!
I found a box filled with slides in the garage while looking for Patrick’s Easter basket. In between planting, I hope to get started on scanning the slides onto my computer. Very excited to see what’s there and will try to post some of the more interesting stuff.
