…and then I’m off until 7/10! I’ve got most everything caught up at work so that tomorrow will be spent cleaning up my office and filing. Mindless tasks. There are other things I could do, but I have to get things put away so that I don’t come back to the mess that has accumulated over the past 6 months.

Patrick saw the doctor on Tuesday and has been diagnosed with early onset arthritis in his hip. He went for an x-ray on Wednesday and should hear from the doctor next week. Meanwhile he has an Rx for 600mg ibuprofen to relieve the pain.

Kevin is working on getting pre-approved for a mortgage so that he and Soula can buy a house. So far Washington Mutual is leading the way with customer friendly loan specialists…and they let you talk with real people! I’m hoping they don’t have too much difficulty getting approved. And then the great house hunt is on!

Temps here remain in the 90’s and are expected to remain in that range through next week. Figures. It seems that every time I take a week off to work on home projects this happens. So I guess that means I will definitely be painting my bedroom. Lately it’s been hot when I get up and never really cools off at night, so few things can happen other than in rooms with a/c. But that’s ok. At least I won’t try to do too many things and can probably be assured of completely finishing my bedroom if I stay in there all week.

Off to bed. Am totally exhausted after getting up at 5 for a 7 am meeting this morning. Would like to watch Robin Williams on The Tonight Show, but think I’m going to TiVo it in case I can’t stay awake!
