The gang consisted of just about every kind of weather episode you can imagine: hail, rain, wind, thunder, lightning, mudslides, flooding, tornadoes, and snow in the mountains! I’ve never seen anything like the weather we experienced today…and especially at this time of the year. Fortunately we just watched the tornadoes, snow, flooding and mudslides on TV even though all of them were occurring here in So.Cal.

When I got home tonight I found Murphy running around in the rain in the driveway! He was sopping wet, so he must have been out in the rain for awhile. Either the gardener let him out, or he got really scared from the thunder and lightning and somehow squeezed out under the gate. He’s never done that before, but he hasn’t been home alone before during a big thunderstorm. At least he doesn’t wander off when he gets out.
