So Kevin convinced me to play a game called “My Tribe” on Facebook, and I am addicted now. It rained here all day yesterday which was a good excuse for me to park myself in front of the computer and play this damn game all day! I vowed from the start that I wasn’t going to get hooked on any Facebook games and have been hiding/blocking all of them the minute any updates showed up from friends. Kevin knows someone involved with the making of this game, however, so I decided to try it. I’m not posting updates to my FB wall so I don’t have to burden others with all that garbage. But it is a fun game and I’m hopeful others will try it and will visit my ‘island’ since that benefits my play of the game. It’s not a requirement, though, and I can still play without visitors.

Fortunately, all games are blocked on my work computer. I say fortunately because it would be very tempting if they weren’t blocked!

The Oscars pre-show has started and, since there are so many “stars” that I don’t know these days, I will probably watch off and on and play this game while kind of watching. And we’ll see how long I continue playing the game as the challenges start requiring more effort.
